Its just a minor annoyance but the bulb has blown that illuminates the light switch, does anyone know how to access it to change the bulb?

Whip off the instrument panel surround, draw forward and change bulb.

They'll be a couple of screws or so that hold the metal strip in at the bottom (or is it top?)

Do I need to remove the steering wheel?

Thinking about it further.

If you can stick your hand up behind the dash, then I think the bulb holder is just a push fit into the back of the bit that surrounds the back of the switch.

Otherwise, I think the next route, is to remove the lower and upper column switch cowlings in order to access the bottom fastners that hold the surround in place.

Will have a quick look in the morn.

Make sure you use a 24v bulb.
