Strong fuel smell turning hard left with full tank

So I use the 360 for a recent trip... and there's a problem

Noticed that when cornering hard left with a full tank of fuel there was suddenly a strong fuel vapour smell inside the car. I actually stopped to check if there was a leak but couldn't see anything obvious. After reigning in my roundabout entry speeds, it never did it again - but I'm presuming this could be due to perished breather hoses behind the C-Pillar perhaps? Or could it be as simple as the fuel running back out of the filler cap!?

Does anyone have any specs or decent sources for these hoses and any diags of the system? I'm sure I saw some around the forum years gone by but the images don't seem to be hosted anymore :(

http://www.born-built-beauties.eu/ (there's also parts books there if you look hard enough  )

Edit to add:

Did you check these THAT weekend? (or any time in the last 8 years :) )

Cheers - will take a look. Although in terms of parts, looks like only the filler hose and sender seal.

I did indeed, that weekend - and subsequently fitted new jubilee clips, so they're in great condition. Shame that car in question no longer exists

Shame indeed! Anyway, what are the clips like on the car in question?

Clips are original - but they look alright and it's certainly not leaking from there, I suspect given the strong odour inside the car at the time I'll be looking at hoses inside the car.
