I began to strip my replacement head and found my valve spring compressor is not suited for a head of this type, i manage to get around it using a socket, however, I would never be able to get the collets back using this method.

could anybody share a link to the correct type of spring compressor.

I just used one from Halfords which has worked for me for multiple heads.
