B14 Weber DIR32 carb rebuild kit...help!

Howdy folks,
Now while the carb is holding up at present, I really think I owe it a rebuild. I know Adam did a rebuild, and with great results. Thing is, rebuild kits seem pretty damn rare. All I've found so far on my travels is this...
Ozzie eBay-tastic
...which doesn't seem uber cheap, since I can get two ADDHE rebuild kits for that much.
Any thoughts people?
cheers

There's this one tuning/racing/competition parts shop nearby which sells rebuild kits for 32DIR for 32 euros. (~£20) That's kinda far away from there though.

They have order form in english too in their pages though so that might indicate that they'll ship in other countries too. Not sure though.

Pages are in Finnish.
There are two kind of kits available for 340 with 32DIR.
W176 340 Sarja 1,4 76-81 Weber 32 DIR 83/100 32,00 €
W177 340 Sarja 1,4 82-91 Weber 32 DIR 104/100 32,00 €
Taken from

There's the english order form.
http://www.moposport.fi/sivut/augramen.html
Though it might be better to ask about those via email because that form is kinda confusing. (It says moped model etc.. because that shop sales parts for mopeds/motorbikes too..) If they answer, I've heard that they don't answer too often on emails there..
Their email is
tilaukset@moposport.fi
Of course I could buy that and send it to you if they don't deliver to other countries. I don't know how much it would cost to send that kit to you though.

Mine is a 32DIR-104/101, but I doubt it makes much difference.
Can I have a translation of the lower bits?
Does anyone sell the parts from the kit individually? The only piece I need as such is the top gasket, so if that were a lot cheaper...
I have a feeling Adam actually made his own gaskets.
cheers

Lower parts is just the names of cities and then there's number which indicates how many of that part are currently in stock there.

I didn't knew that Motonet sells those kits too. Motonet is a Finnish parts dealer. Very large stocks of everything.

Vantaa, that's the city where I live in. 3 kits in stock here, Motonet is even nearer than the one shop I posted above. Though wasn't it Aukki who previously sent the snowcaps to England? If so then he knows the routine better.
Btw. Aukki I will check the color code of my car tomorrow. If lucky it might even be the same what the parts car of your have.

Oh sorry, there seems to be 11 sets in Finland.
edit: Thanks Fuse
have you ask can your local volvo dealer find that gasket ?

Good point - I'll ask tomorrow when I go to pick up all the other bits! If not, I'll probably get the ones from Ozzie eBay, since it's about the same price, and means I don't have to bother you guys. Thanks for the advice though.
cheers

hi james...
if you want the middle gasket the volvo part number is 3287068
In both the volvo part and the one missing on ebay the gasket hasnt got a whole for the float chamber...Ive got the gasket in front on me... they look the same
I presume you are working on the 1.4? nessy? I havent been able to memorise the weber types for each 300 yet... weber 32 is the 1.4 right?
There is also a firm here in manchester who sell kits... they wanted 10quid for that gasket but volvo wanted 3 quid.... volvo won
I tried to make my own gasket for my J reg. It has had a BAD idle since I had worked on the carb to try to get it started. This car unusually after 2 days standing takes AGES to restart.Needs some TLC once I get its clutch sorted...
I was thinking about making my own gaskets or at least seeing if it were possible once they arent easily available. I used normal card which doesnt work..... I think you need a wax coated card.. maybe from an art shop...
I got new gaskets to see what they were originally made from
Im thinking about rebuilding the carb on my J reg. Its something I want to learnt to do so Im hopefully working one night with a friend at his garage.
I'll try to get pics or something so others can see how to do it...
PS where do those square pieces go in the carb? Ive only found one gasket in the carb itself... the other one goes between it and the airfilter...

Cheers Adam
P.S. What other bits do you need???

The carb bits I need are the top plate, the idle solenoid, the throttle-closed switch (ie: the other electrical connector), and this gasket.
The gasket I'm looking for is the one which lives in the top of the float chamber. I can get that from Volvo eh? I'll do that then. Balls, I've only just ordered a load of stuff
Something square is almost certainly the accelerator pump diaphragm.
Yes, this is Nessy, the 3dr 340 1.4. The 340 1.4 was the only 300 ever to have a Weber carb (as standard).
