I`m seriously considering doing an autogas conversion on my 340 - I seem to have an idea that there was somone one the boards who had some expertise in this area (sorry I`ve not been around for a while) and would be grateful for some info on possible costs for kits, whether anybody`s done it on a 340 and how it worked out.

My car is an 88 1.4 with no cat so I imagine that it would be fairly straight forward.

Any possible drawbacks apart from not being able to use the chunnel?....

The 1.4 for is simple enough. If you want to do it yourself and have good mechanical experiance then it would be possible.
