or pay more for a better brand

Go the twin side exhaust like Adam (? my memory is not good

) has.
You do realise that it's not actually going to make the car go faster dont you? It'l scrape on those deep gutters, make the cops take an interest, and make you look like every other hoonadore or japmobile out there....
Be a little more creative. The twin pipes you showed look alright, but that one big coke can might be a little wrong (unless you've lowered it, got some 15-16inch alloys, 4 15"subs in the boot and a speaker under the hood that goes ccchhhhssssss every time you take your foot off the accelerater!)
Having said that, the standard muffler doesnt really do much aestheticly.....
Cheers

personally I prefer the twin outlet style some of the bigger bore single pipes just look ridiculous,
dont know if you can get one/adapt one for the volvo but the peco powermaster is the one I went for on the cali

I wouldn't really say its worth putting the extra money into a better brand one, the only times its worth doing that is when the exhaust is designed for the car (full system) for actual performance gains (correct backpressure....mandrel bent tubing, etc) For a universal backbox I really doubt there's going to be any difference in quality.

What've you got exhaust wise Ali, cause if my memory serves me correct it was your car at the Ludlow meet that sounded great

A little loud for my tastes, but it really did sound good

Haha cheers, yeah it is a little loud especially considering thats just a backbox! Mine is a Rage one with 2" inlet and about 3.5" exit pretty much identical looking to the first one that hatch360 linked to. Video of mine here........

I did have another video of me flooring it from stationary up to about 80ish but unfortunately I got a virus on my computer so i've lost ALL my files

Steve might have it though

Think I have that on my old hard disk on my old PC... which I'll be recovering shortly. Funny thing is we just put a similar box on the rear of my mates 760... and it's not *that* loud, sounds bloody nice though!

760 is turbo and turbo makes sounds more quiet, thus with turbo engine you can let one more silencer out compared to NA engine

Nope... its a V6

But then again, the standard system still has two silencers remaining as well as the straight through rear box.

Ah, there was those too indeed but seems to be quite less for some odd reason?

You also get Volvo 760 with the B23ET engine, and that is a turbocharged 4-cylinder redblock! HAH in yo'h FACE!

the 6 in 760 means it's a V6
an inline 4 760 is a 740

Wrong... 760's were also available with redblock turbos... and turbo redblocks sound like sh*te compared to the PRV

Correct, in exactly the same way that a 360 has a V6 and the 480 has a V8...................
