am i just incapable or is the engine mounting bolt by the downpipe on a b14 a different size or just bitter? similarly the clutch cable seems a tricky task to remove on the engine end.
i don't have a great deal of underaccess to the car, as far as i can reach with it on the ground really.
any hints or tips appreciated

Halfords stands are a tenner, I got a second pair over Easter as I needed both Kar and Fake up in the air (typically one decided to break as the engine is half out the other
)
The B14's mounts should be all the same size, and the clutch cable is a biatch. As I didn't need mine any more I cut through the clutch cable with a big pair of pliers, just so I could get on with the job. Engine mount is a pig to get to, I had my set of deep six sided sockets and a 2ft breaker bar to do the job though.
