As per title, does anyone know anything about Strombergs, like throttle sizes of them, and are they easy to get hold of?

I gather they not exactly sought after, but I could do with a couple of them actually.

If idve needed em a while back i couldve got them off some old 240s being broken at my local scrappy, but as ever, hindsight is 20/20, lol...

They are the CD1.75 - 1 3/4 inch. The later 240's had the Zenith carb that is very similar.

You could try ones off a Range Rover as being simple to get or if you wanted a SU will bolt in place - dead easy to get of a MG metro but will need suitable needle and Jet

1.75inch would be fine.

Now to try and find some...

I bet the local scrappy has sone, but wether they work or not is another matter...

How many do you need? Are you planning a twin set up?

Long time no visit!

These guys had probably 20 in a box when I was there a while back. Make sure you get a price on the phone though - they were greedy in person. I didn't mind, as i'd practically stolen the eBay item I went to collect. sm56

cheers
