Hi everyone, thought i would start this thread as it may come in useful for some people when servicing/adjusting the carb.
Could everyone please post how many turns out the mixture screw is from seated, which engine, and how it runs.
Mine is 3 turns out from seated with idle at 800
1.7
runs well when warm but slightly lumpy idle when cold

Mixture Settings on Carburettors
1987 Volvo 340 1.7
No idea on number of turns, I normally run the mixture so it sounds best by ear, then back the idle down to 850/900, then do the mixture again. Then back it off 1/2 a turn leaner.

I don't know if this is any help, but with my B200K I run almost out of thread from mixture screw after putting K-cam in, it would need re-jetting for that cam I believe.
Now reason why it suddenly needs to be so much out could be air leak or dirt in fuel filters/fuel line, those are firsts to come my mind.
