f7r question

hey everyone i'm new here and i read about swaping f7r but i have one question at the moment:
so if i want to swap it in my 340 i have to buy f7r from clio why same engine not good from megane if its same engine ? :?

its good enough, it just means putting up with coil packs. where as the f7r from the clio runs on a dizzy cap and single coil.

these coil packs where can i get them :?: :oops:
and what about f7p if taken from r19 whould need same parts coil packs etc ?

The engine from the R19 and Clio are pretty much the same, i.e they don't use coil packs, it's only the Megane ones that do.
From what i'm led to believe it is a more straight forward swap using the distributor engines, but it is also possible to use the megane one.

no f7p was just int he 19 and clio, F7R was in the clio williams and megane.

take your pick of where your engine comes from, heck theres the F3R from the laguna etc

No, best way is getting an engine without a Coil pack. That means, not the later megane engine. Early megane, clio williams, Clio 16v, R19 16v...They all fit without problems.

and one more questiom :D so megane with was f7r from 1996 since 2001 so which year was last without coil packs?
