my '87 1.4 340 5dr

Post by chunkybond » 10 Nov 2009 06:18 pm

Its time to let her go. I have owned it for a year, and have had zero problems with her.
Its got 87,500 miles on the clock, and 360 days remaining on the MOT certificate!
All it needed for the MOT is a screenwash pump which I sorted on the day. I have the original service book, with a few stamps in, and then the 3 most recent MOTs...
I have a badgeless grill AND a badged one, which you can have too.
The car also has modern stereo ISO wiring and kenwood door speakers and vibe 6 x 9s on the parcel shelf, wiring in the boot for a sub and amp if you so wish, all professionally fitted as my commute to work can be boring without music

The bad bits (not terrible, im just being picky!)
rear wash does not work (wiper still does)
Bit of surface rust on one of the rear wheelarches, about 10 cms wide and 1.5 cms high
and a hole on one corner of the door the size of a 5p piece.
Drivers seat heater does not work (but passenger side does!)
couple of parking dents where doris (the previous owner) met with certain objects at sainsburys!
and could do with a tyre for the next mot..

More pics tomorrow, but heres what I took of it about 2 hours ago..:

Hi mate, just found this for-sale ad after PMing you.

Very interested, let me know if you still have the car for sale!

Cheers, Chris
