Will the air filter kit fit my 1.4 89 model with just removing the airfilter pan etc.... any mods i got too do as from what i rember the weber is square top not round- oval as the pipe looks on the photo if your filter.....

Yes it will, the choke flap holes may be square but if you look around them there is an oval lip which this kit fits on with a special hose clamp with retaining tabs you bend under the carb base.
