Hi all.
Maybe i am just having a blond moment but did 1700s not all have rev counters.
This one does not. Still, its a nice motor.

I've had a J plate GL Vario which had a rev counter and also a J plate 1.7 GL which also had a rev counter - I think the run-out models were fitted with most of the options available.

Mines got a rev counter, and other stuff thats not on an earlier (I think!) 1.7 GL. Electric windows, electric mirrors, GLT side rubbers, black not silver window trim, different upholstery. If I was looking out for another 1.7 I'd look for a late as poss without cat but more toys. Mine cost £500 in 2001 but was much higher mileage (120,000). You have to remember that at that time the car was only 10 years old and second hand cars that age were maybe worth more that they are now? I'm not sure what £500 is worth today compared with 2001. (don't say...£500 )
