13" late-model alloys

Post by foggyjames » 29 Jul 2010 01:24 am

Hi all,

Since buying Steve's steels, I now have no use for the alloys I bought for the 345 I picked up last weekend. Here they are on the car...

I paid £50 for them, and that's what I'm asking. There are three usable (but not great) tyres, but I think they all need balancing. The fourth has a nasty puncture and needs to be replaced (it was this way when I bought them).

Not such great news, you say? Well the good news is that (from memory) all of the rims are in excellent, virtually as-new, condition. I will get detailed pics if anyone is interested.

cheers

Bump. I've had these sitting around for pretty much a year now. They can stay there indefinitely if a new home isn't making itself known at present, but I reckon that £50 is still very fair money for them. They're called "Hercules" rims, by the way. Very...er...imposing...with their...er...mighty 5.5" width...!

New pictars!

Anyone fancy buying them this year? If not, expect a bump around this time in 2012! sm56

Hi James.
they should not be to hard to shift at that price.
Is that a 160 sleeping in the background?
Cheers Mark. sm4

Thanks Mark :) Yes, it certainly is - my 1970 164. I'm hoping to get it in the garage next summer for a spot of welding...

cheers
