That car looks lovely. Typical UK spec, with the rear wiper and third brake light ...

Negatory. The entire market is down at the moment. The problem is that ebay has got way too popular now (even more so) for bargains. The place now seems to be owners club forums, gumtree and local papers.

Autofailure has always been a home for overpriced dealers. It's in their blood to try and sell everything for more than it's worth. Problem is, it tends to work now and again.

Owners club magazines too. Shop windaes. Bloke down the pub.

The best deals I've found are word-of-mouth jobs.

They are getting harder to find now, although if you hang on I'm sure one will turn up nearby. Getting a good one is the problem however, for that you may have to travel a fair bit further. I've been on the lookout for just a pair of good 3 door doors for over a year now, finally got some but had to drive over 200 miles round trip to get them!
Don't give up, they do turn up and the good thing is that they often turn out to be the kind of car that has been tucked away in a garage for 15 years or more.

It was a 3 door too :(
I actually resisted going to look at this car when it first came up as it was close but I was only after the doors. I couldn't have broken it just for them and would have ended up wanting to keep it
We will regret it when they are worth 5 grand
