My 1.8 built f7p carbs etc etc etc

Post by DanYellowHeadlights » 10 Sep 2012 07:29 pm

For sale possibly is my 165bhp Renault Clio engine...

First off, reasons for sale is I'm entering the British drift championship next year and 165 bhp isn't going to cut it against these 4-500bhp cars!!!

The engine is amazing!

Spec...
Piper fast road cams
Kent vernier pulleys
Twin 40 delloretto carburettors
Boggs brothers manifold
Ported and polished by a company called hill performance
Set up by HT racing at brands hatch, I have dyno print out etc etc

The engine was rebuilt in April so it's done about 4000 miles and so far has had 4 oil changes...the engine now uns faultless, good on fuel etc etc etc

Will come with fuel pump also so it's literally ready to bolt in

I will leave the engine in the car for test drives (BY ME AND ME ONLY) will only take an hour or so to crane it out the car!!

So price, in April, I bought the pulleys for £250, and spend £1100 on a full head rebuild (new pulleys, valves, valve springs, lifters etc etc etc)

In march I paid nearly £1000 for the carburettors and the manifold cost me £500

This engine cost me in the region of £3700-£4000

I'm selling the engine for £1600 ONO

Worth every penny!!!

Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com

It's a great engine mate, perfect for fast road etc, but not enough for 5th gear drifting haha

Let me know when your coming up and I can come and say hi!!
