Getting an AC kit sent from Oz is probably easier than finding and stripping a car here! Alarming as that probably seems...

Foggy, that's a really PITA, sounds a bit odd, how it suddenly goes missing. Well, bad luck chap, I'm keeping my eyes open for you, there's so many 300's coming up for sale lately, surely there will be one with the a/c, possibly in a doggy, rough shell that you'd not feel too bad about robbing!

If you are getting an aussie AC, let them send two at once, I will take the other one, I think shipping one form the UK to Holland is cheaper then having it shipped from down under...

Yes, but half the shipping from Oz, plus the shipping to Belgium.... :P

You can start your collection with a compressor from a 760 / 940 - I'm fairly sure they're the same. I'll check, confirm, and report back on that one.

cheers

 It's late and really hot... my mind is offline sm41
Shipping it straight from Australia to The Netherlands (THE NETHERLANDS NOT BELGIUM! ) is problably cheaper indeed...

It was almost 40*C above the tarmac today... and I spent most of my day driving... I NEED an AC...

HAHA! My plan worked

Agreed...that was the great irony...on the way back from supposedly obtaining AC was the first time this year that I've felt like I need AC. Both myself and V6 Man agreed it was not much fun. The gauge was saying 32 degrees.

cheers

My inside temp mod isn't always a good thing... it's been telling me it's past the 40 mark for the last while :(.
