Want a jaguar desperately... I really liked my Jag, want a change too - want some power and I don't want to "pay" for it.
See anything interesting - let me know, have the 340 as PX/Swap/Etc.

I'm after any XJ or something interesting - 70's 80's upto 1991 but not the 2.9 or anything with cloth interior. Needs to drive, have oil pressure, be cheap, complete and no serious rot - nothing else matters.

Worth a shot..

driftlover - what can you give me for it - it's mot'd till 28th feb, tax till end of month - needs quarterglass, locks, and now a thrustbearing (i think) There's one area of rust that will NEED plating for next mot but its just a flat piece near the engine mount and honestly, a pinhole on the rear of one sill that needs a casual Zap in passing but that's it - need money SOON. I can get £160 to weigh it in without adding extra scrap so beat that and its yours.
I could even deliver it for you if you're not too far away.
