Complete front struts and lowering springs
Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
All are like that so you can undo the top nut, the adjustables have a smaller version of that in a sleeve from memory, though I could be wrong!

Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
i cant really stretch that that much as i only need a few bits of it. if you dont get any intrest though let me know
Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
is there any difference between 340 and 360 struts? I know the springs probably aren't the right poundage for a 360, brakes will be different and they wont have the droplink mount but apart from that are they any different?
Are the top mount bearings ok?
Cheers,
Matt

Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
There's a minute camber difference between 1.4s and all others (so 340 1.7s and 360s...goodness knows about diesels, but that's probably not a big problem for anyone except Mr Plaxton!), but that's the only different except the droplink mount on late 360 struts.
Agreed that they're probably standard shocks. Seems like a reasonable price...good luck with the sale.
cheers
James

Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
Id be interested if anyone new the poundage and drop of those springs. I dont want 300lb and -75 mm

Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
He'll only sell them to you as a 301lb and a 74mm drop if you tell him that

oxford..not sure how far that is from you?
Re: Complete front struts and lowering springs
About an hour-hour and a halfs drive.
Tbh I'd rather they were gone sooner, but a late sale is better than no sale at all, so why not
