If it has aircon (you're looking for a button with a snow-flake symbol next to the temperature slider for the heater), I'll better any reasonable offer.
Otherwise, good luck with selling it! Valuation is difficult without detailed info on condition. A very tight example is worth its weight in gold - Hugh got an amazing deal on Dougle - I'd have paid double what he did. Without any condition info, I'd say given the age, £150-200...but given the mileage and the leather, that surely must rise to £200-300. Having said that, if its rusty to any significant degree, you can at least half that price, even with a good service history.
By far the most expensive aspect of maintaining a 300 to a reasonable level all-round is the bodywork, so the price of a rusty car reflects this. My car is far from the scrappiest you'll see, but really it needs four new doors, and moderate work to the A pillars. In time it will also need work to the rear wheelarches and roof by one of the tailgate hinges. With an all-over respray (also needed), that's probably £2000 worth if you're lucky. Hence why Dougle (only a couple of spots of rust here and there) was such a steal!
cheers

Oooooh, that sounds interesting, and very tempting. And Newbury is only up the road...
I look forward to hearing if the car has any rust, if not i may be tempted to abuse my credit card!

Pictures now available

Morning all.
Following a productive visit to Yorkshire, there are now some pictures of this exclusive car on the following website. www.heapco.co.uk
I hope that they are clear enough for you all to have a good look and make up your minds if this is the car for you!!!

Enjoy the view, any problems either post on here or email me directly at jameshud@btinternet.com
Hope you all got verrry silly on New Year's Eve.
Regards
James
Hard to say from the pictures, is it possible to get bigger versions of them for those interested. Other than that the car looks nice and tidy, exept for a possible dent on the passenger rear wing, under the window. What is probably quite interesting to some people are the seats, they're part leather - I don't know about anyone else, but I've NEVER seen these before! It also has the re-circ button
I'm sure you'll get it sold on here

If you want bigger photos!
Can do it many ways.....
Call me and we can log on and then tranfer via MSN. Email me and I can send as files. Each photo is about 880 kbytes, and there are 16 of them!!
The seats were a special for the car, they are UNIQUE!!!! The inserts are leather in the centre of the fabric trim!

Hi Redline,
No really must be rid of the car, as we have two of our own, one a Landrover Defender 110 the other a 5 door Renault, and only 2 drivers, even though the eldest son is desperate to start learning to drive.!
As there are 6 in the family now, it is not a very practical car for us (17,16, 14 and 12 are the ages!!!).
Well lets hope that someone is really keen on the beastie!!!
