Steve, as promised, here is the info for the bumper bolts you may wish to find incase the originals break. Which they probably will, as shown in the photo, all those did!

Also a pic (not the best view of the black bumper now it has been removed)

Hi Steve, I'll bring it along to Gaydon for you. I've still no idea about a price, but we'll sort something out, it won't be expensive! You can judge for yourself when you see it and see what's fair from the condition of it. How's the car going? Enjoying it?

Ok thats fine by me, you can see why I need it at the meet too!

Cars going really well, although it was a bit low on oil when I checked yesterday, so topped that up.. haven't seen any visible blue smoke or anything though, but something to keep an eye on. But yeah it runs well, and is good fun.. still loving the power! Haven't really pushed it's handling its been a bit too wet for the crappy tyres! But I should be picking a set of alloys with decent tyres up on Saturday.

Sounds good Steve, especially the alloy wheels you're looking at, something different. The power is great fun isn't it? Knowing it's there if you need it, waiting to be unleashed!

Anything else from the black car you may need, especially colour coded wise?

Hell yes, the power is great fun. My mate has a 1.2 Clio (I hear you all laughing ), I followed him around a corner and put my foot down abit to catch up, he was going for it and I caught up in no time atall - 2nd and 3rd gear are great, as is traction from a standstill in the dry, although I've only had one dry day in the car so far!

hmm don't think I need anything else, the front bumper is in good condition. Thanks for the offer though, I'll let you know if I think of anything.

Steve
