As seen on Retro Rides... I'm half tempted to get the bonnet for my GLS. Yard details: Harry Bucklands in Cheltenham, Glos. As it's a special edition it may have a sunroof (although not sure in the pic) as well as the nice 13" alloys.

Cool link steve.
Id like the wheels and the rear clusters.
Bit too far to drive though!

I'm half tempted to pop down and grab a pair of wings and maybe a bonnet off this car - emailed to enquire about condition. Anyone want the wheels??

From that angle, the condition of the car looks great! Wheels might be interesting. When are you going, Steve?
Cheers
Tom

This is the thing! I *may* be able to go Saturday morning before the meet... I think it's a bit of a shame the cars in there, it looks nice. Anything specific you wanted mate?

Definitely the wheels, if you're up for taking them off, and Mr Scrappie doesn't want to get rich quick. 1st dibs to VND though! Might be worth a look at the stereo too, if it has FM.
Real shame it's being broken though, I've got a soft spot for special editions and that one looks good.

Ah, the RR car. Good call putting it up on here mate.
I would be partial to the front and rear screen trims if they are chrome as opposed to plastic? Scratch that, they are plastic and the rear is already lifting. lol
Maybe worth removing the gutter trims though? You knows I wouldn't mind some spares! If you can/could/don't mind and they aren't a fortune then maybe I could be cheeky and ask Trabitom to bring them up when he comes to see John for panels on Monday? [/cheeky]

Sounds alright - can't imagine gutter trim to be expensive - hard to remove though as it tends to go brittle! Still not heard anything back from the yard owner though by email, so hopefully it's still there :S I'm also actually beginning to wonder whether it's the same colour code as mine. Somehow mine looks more silver

Cool.

I found a way to remove them. Lift from the bottom upwards iirc. I only discovered the best method after snapping one side though! Still managed to get two vgc ones off in three pieces, and it wasn't a warm day. As you know, that always helps too!
What colour is yours, silver grey? I'm sure that's the name of mine, and ours are basically the same car? I'd say it does look more grey in that pic, but it's hard o say for sure.

I'm pretty certain mine's the same colour as yours... but yeah, as you said this looks more grey. I'd better take a note of the paintcode of mine. You don't happen to have yours handy??
Managed a gutter trim on my old GLT ok, not sure if the chrome stuff comes off any easier
