I am proud to announce the upcoming production start of coolant hose (the hose running from the waterpump along side the valve cover to the heater on B14 models from 1986 onwards) which was sold by Volvo as hose 3210843 but has been unavailable for a long time.

According to the books this hose is used from 1986 onwards (from ch 154580 to be exact) but a reiable source has informed me that with a slight modification it can also be used on B14 models from 1982 onwards.

This hose can be ordered for 30 euro (excl p&p) for delivery at the end of February.

Disclaimer: Orders with destination Italy and African states are refused for now due to a non-reliable postal service.

As I don't know what the Euro is doing , I'm a bit hesitant to fix a Pounds Sterling price just now, but could probably sort something out.

I don't have a particular interest in this hose, as I no longer have any late-model B14 cars....but I have just received my door handle rubbers (which are even better than I thought they'd be), and thought I'd drop a note in here to say how much I value the great work you're doing in making hard-to-find parts available once again.

I don't mean to make a "wish list", but might a discussion about future parts to look at be useful...in a new thread, of course? There are some items which I am concerned about, but these might already be available elsewhere (360 P/S track rods and gaiters, and CV gaiters...the latter two being available from Scan Tech, but the quality is poor...)...? Maybe you have a list which will keep you busy until 2015, but if a discussion about it would be useful, let me know and I'll start a new thread. Likewise, anything I can do to help with making items available, just let me know. We have a few potentially useful items around, such as molds for various bodykit parts (as far as I know, we have coverage of every bodykit item ever made).

I'ld really like to keep it in the pm sphere instead of opening a seperate discussion on the forum.
So far I've got about 2 pages of bits that are eligible for production but as I've set myself a maximum amount for this "adventure" bit will have to generate resources to pay for the next item.

At present the release after this hose (an overhaul kit) is allready undergoing trials in four "daily use" 340's. Some of you may already know what I am talking of but I ask you to keep quiet about it. A production decision of this kit will be taken in January (preliminary results are better than expected) for release in the second half of February.

As I am also looking further ahead allready I can let you know that I am looking for worn McPherson rubber bits in order to "recycle" the metal inserts inside.

VM, it might help to let you know I'm currently trying to do the same with manual propshafts, just incase you are already working on the same stuff.

This attitude is the entire reason the 300 scene is somewhere I've stayed for the last 10 years. There was no aftermarket support at all for 300's 10 years ago, but look at the suppliers (I'm thinking Dai mainly here, but also Nordic have shown interest in getting new parts made and stocked, as well as yourself, Mac and George Mitchell of FOTV3) we have now. Nearly all of whom are just interested people rather than companies too.

Ok, I'll pop together a PM when the next few days of snow-related madness are over, and I have a bit of spare time

Top mounts are something I'd be very interested in seeing, so it's great news that that's on your radar

I have the parts on a couple of "marketplaces" on the internet.
Just enter the Volvo part number in a search engine like Google and you should see them pop up.

I am thinking realy hard about a website, it really should be in the air before 2012, but at the moment I am putting my energy in the parts and dealing with the manufacturers. Point is that building good websites is an art I have not mastered yet......

It's always a good idea to combine resources. Have you thought of doing a "joint venture" with Dafhobby? He's been expanding his V300 section in the past few years...
