1987 340 Breaking

All exterior and interior trim available, running gear. shell and panels etc arent.

1987 Volvo 340DL 3 door, in blue, breaking. I pick the car up on thursday and dont have any other information yet, just saved it from the scrapyard.

First post so hope this is the right place etc, car will be in Preston.

What sort of condition is all the chrome window trim in? I'm talking all the window surrounds and the rain gutters.

If LiamNP doesn't need the rear window chrome I'm interested in it. Must be the chrome however, not the plastic type. I'm also after a pair of doors, are these up for grabs? Thanks

The door's arent up for grabs sorry, but the rear window does appear to be chrome yes, from the photo anyway, Liam hasn't been in touch so as far as im concerned the chrome is up for sale?

If you need the item soon, I can remove it from the car tomorrow when i pick it up as it isnt being kept at my house for now, thanks.

If it's chrome and they are in A1 condition I'll have them! I think its actually stainless steel and only comes on non opening rear windows, which those look like. Never taken out non opening window so not sure how easy it is to separate. Might have to come out with entire window, might be best to get the window with it to avoid damage. Anyone know about those types of windows? Opening ones are easy.

Not desperate so don't rush to get them out, might take a bit of working out how to remove them without damage.

Edit:

Just read the Haynes manual, window does need to be pushed out from inside, then the silver trim taken out and then the rubber. I will need the glass as I'm replacing the opening windows with these and need the glass without holes. It's a two man job, as it will be very easy to shatter the window and also you need someone on the outside to catch the window!
