Ambient Temperature Gauge

Hi Chaps,
now for sale on ebay is my ambient temperature gauge, old but new and boxed!

Go on,treat yourself!

Its for a mark 3 I believe, but not totally sure!! :D

Hi mate.
Had a look at your ambient gauge on the bay.
It seems to have a smiths sender witch would make it between 82-85 86.
I might be wrong and usually am. Maybe some of the experts might know better.

can I ask anyone who knows the difference between a VDO and Smiths temperature gauge to have a look at my ebay sale of said ambient temp gauge and let me know which one Im selling, any help much appreciated

What's the part number on the box? That's definitely not a VDO sender which is black and square-ish. I'd take a guess and say it's a Smiths gauge too (83 & 84 model years)

the number is very faded but appears to be part number ( 284706-9)

Ebay will indeed decide.

Id be disapointed with less that £15 if I was selling it.

Ive given VDO ones away mind.
