Very unusual to see a black 340 that's not a Redline. Looks very clean Jay! What did you do for an ECU for the 2.0?

cheers

James

Nice work bud :)

What was the ECU from? As far as I'm aware, the only factory F7R except the Megane (with VVT?) was the Williams, and those ECUs are like hen's teeth...hence why most F7Rs don't seem to run quite right...as they're using "something else"...either a standard 1.8 ECU, or one with a remap. I could have the wrong end of the stick here, as I'm going from conversations with Chris that I've only half been listening to (because they're about Renaults ;)) :)

cheers

James

I spoke to Chris about this the other day, and he said the only 'proper' route is a Williams ECU, but they're not *that* rare, so it probably has that. Just curious, as I know a few folks have had trouble with theirs not running, but Chris said it's usually to do with the quality of the wiring looms.

Looks like a nice motor for someone :) Just don't show me that 142 again!

cheers

James
