Hi, I'm fairly new here and not very well known but I'm selling my volvo 340 drifter as I've bought a BMW 318 for drifting now. I'm looking for £400 or nearest offer which I think is fair for tax, MOT, welded diff and spare wheels and tyres.
Any questions, or if you want to come have a look and/or buy the car my mobile number is 07982 802 549 The car is located in Leicester (LE1) I could deliver it to Cambridge as I have family there but I'm not driving it there just so you can have a look at it. For sale is my volvo 340 drifter, I bought it standard and have owned it for a year and now, having learnt the basics, am looking to move to something more powerful. It skids very well in the wet (I have done third gear skids in it) but struggles with anything other than first gear in the dry. With autum and the rainy season just around the corner this would make an ideal starter car.
It's got 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax so can be driven away.
Good points:
Welded diff
cut springs (front)
lowering blocks (rear)
landrover shocks (rear)
rear stripped out - no rear seats, carpets etc
front is still standard - electric windows, central locking, heated seats etc (lots of weight which could be lost if you can do without the creature comforts - I couldn't as it was a daily)
recent MOT - valid until August 2012
recent Tax - valid until Feb 2012
comes with spare tyres and wheels - 4 vw polo alloy wheels with tyres on (2 perished, 2 road legal) plus 4 road legal tyres not mounted on wheels.
Everything works, the heated seats work, even the headlight washers and wipers work!
comes with some other spares - speaker cables wired for the rear (but no rear speakers (they were stripped and binned) spare interior clock (lol), 2 spare diff backplate gaskets if I can find them (£10 each on volvo300mania.com, IIRC)
bad points:
Some rust in usual places, none worthy of advisory on recent MOT
Some drift scars
Smashed rear driver's side indicator (not actually a drift scar, some twat crashed into it and then fucked off at high speed) - I haven't replaced this as my local scrappy doesn't have any volvo 340's. I have replaced the bulb with an orange one and put some tape over it so the MOT man is happy.
