It's back on ebay with a STARTING price of £245
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-343-345 ... 1c1f7eb7ec
I may be wrong but I thought the idea is to start a bit lower than what you want for stuff to encourage people to bid against each other
Don't forget he was the only person prepared to pay that much for it last week (including p&p) so chances are there's no-one out there who will pay what he paid for it (£230), never mind his p&pto get it to him and then another p&p to get it to them. In other words £260.
I don't blame him for trying to get his money back, just annoying that such a rare thing is being put beyond reasonable reach of people.
Maybe we should club together, offer him £160 (more realistic price) and do a louvre timeshare!

Hi Helldriver.
I think he is going to have to take a big hit in the pocket
to get out of the mess of his own doing. It is a much sought after part but not worth that much.
I hope it ends up at a proper home.
Cheers Mark.

That's his SECOND re-listing at £245, previously it was listed on a 3-day auction which ended with no bids.

Keep up, keep up!

Thats good of you to offer, I think the biggest problem will be lowering the price to a reasonable amount!

Couldnt we all put in a bit of money, get it, and then get someone to mould it? Then have the original one as prize for something or another? Or, just leave it in its package and use the moulded ones? Just a thought, Thomas.....

Can't blame the guy for trying

A pretty unrealistic price for a Mk1/2 louvre though. A MkIII would be a different matter entirely.

I seem to remember reading that it's pretty hard getting a mould done from something as delicate as a rear window louvre ...

That's what concerned me about using mine as a mould. They are so delicate as you say!
Whilst on the subject, did you ever get the correct fitting kit for yours from Autoplas Tom? I need a kit for mine. I also don't have the main supporting rod.
