Hey all. I'm very gutted to do this after a mere 2 days of ownership but I bought my 340 with my heart rather than my head, the mrs hates it and wont be able to drive it and we cant insure 2 cars so it looks like I'm stuck driving a shitty VW for a good while longer.

I'll get some pics up but until then heres a link to its original add on driftworks:

http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-c ... miles.html

The car is tatty but solid, I mean really solid! The sills are good, jacking points, everything. It's low mileage although the clocks stopped but I have no reason to doubt the miles.
Its a 5 speed with a welded diff as stated and comes with a second gearbox and welded diff as a spare.
It is thought to have a modified cam although I cant confirm this I can confirm that it pulls like a train.
The gearbox is smooth and if your into drifting you will not be disappointed! Perfect car for a learner or a seasoned pro to have some cheap fun in.

I want what it cost me, £600 for a quick sale. Its MOT'd till march and will fly through the next one I'm sure. Certainly wont have any rot issues.
The brakes are brilliant! Nearly headbutted the window after driving my polo with its typical god awful VW stoppers!
She runs and drives as sweet as anything. Started this morning in -5 on the button.
The fronts lowered on MR2 springs 60mm, the backs not been done yet but comes with landy springs and blocks. The exhaust is chopped and it is supplied with pipes to make a side exit.
Also comes with some wheels and tyres included a complete set of Volvo 13 inch alloys in easily restorable condition.
The interior is partially stripped for caging but is all supplied.

Honestly, anyone who buys this will not be disappointed! I will be getting another 340 but a standard example that my girlfriend will enjoy the comforts of once I manage to sell my other car and get a bit more money together. this one has convinced me that they are the car for me!

I'm in Derby and could really use a quick sale. PM me if interested and leave a number if you'd like me to call.

Hi, sorry about the pics! I've lost my SD card for my camera so I've not gotten around to getting any up! I'll go to PC word later and get robbed for one! haha. The cars still here, a guy's meant to be coming for it today but suddenly decided not to answer his phone anymore so I'm not feeling too confident. :(

I'll take £550 for the car. I cant stress just how solid it is, its certainly not the prettiest but it would be well worth putting some effort in! My reasons for selling so soon as I stated (because I know it seems odd) are that I bought it heart over head because it's so much fun...the mrs does not agree! I'm also currently out of work, cant shift my other car, the insurance is due, I cant afford to insure both or have money sat on the drive, and frankly, buying this car was stupid of me and if it doesn't go I will remain in the dog house which I cant be doing with. gain, I'll try sort some piccies out!

I tried to photograph just how rot free she is, battle scarred maybe but still loads of life in her. Been sat out for a week and started up first touch in -7 yesterday morning. All the interior and the back bumper is here, just not fitted as it was removed to measure up a cage. I'm taking a loss but £500 cash and you can drive her away. I just need the money. Wish I didn't because I'd just keep it a cheap fun skid car.

I'm considering buying this just for parts lol. What are the lower suspension arms like does the car drive straight and true? Cheers, Dan

PM'd, The arms look to be fine and it drives absolutely spot on! Honestly this is a really good car, I just made a stupid impulse buy with it not thinking about the fact that the lady might not enjoy it quite like I do! It's sold me on 300's though, I just need a standard one we can both enjoy. :(
