A820 OBP, 1983 360 GLE. Not quite hit it's 30th birthday yet... These things should be booked within 7 days of entering the State and have VRT paid within 30 days. At the second it's liable for €720 VRT. When it's 30 years-old, then it's €200. And all that's before annual Motor Tax.
€2650? Not on your Nelly!
a) Maurice paid nowhere near that I'd bet.
b) It has outstanding VRT (€720) (€200 if over 30 yo)
c) It has no Motor Tax (€710) (€56 if over 30 yo)
d) It has no NCT (MOT), that's another €55 (1980 onward require annual test, pre-1980 don't).
e) It's not mint.
f) Seller's a feckin' chancer - I 'ate ****ers that think a Ryanair ticket, a boat back and a wash is worth sticking a zero on the end of the price.

If you're going to ask a stupid price, then get all the problems fixed and the car cleared, registered, taxed and ticketed.

Sorry for the rant, I'm feeling a little more intolerant than usual
