1988 [F-Reg] Volvo 340 GLE Saloon – 1 Owner From New – Circa 80,000miles

I am selling this car on behalf of my farther who no-longer has any use for the vehicle. He has owned it from new back in 1988 and has maintained it with meticulous detail. The car has been garaged without fail, when not in use and really is in excellent condition and entirely original.

Service and Maintenance:-

The car was originally purchased from T.L. Darby Ltd of Burton-Upon-Trent and was first registered on 1st November 1988 and has religiously been maintained and serviced by this dealer.

Included within the sale is the key, the service book, a host of receipts and old tax discs along with almost all the MOT certificate since the car was purchased. INC. the current MOT until October 2014

Whilst I am sure that any viewer of this car would be happy with the description above, I think it sensible to note that there are a few scratches to the car and minor corrosion around the arch. The main issue is a leaking break pipe to the rear right, which would mean anyone collecting the car needs to make arrangements to address this issue. Alternatively, we can arrange a repair prior to collection, although the buyer would need to pay for these.

Is there any tax currently on the car?
Are there rear disc brakes or drums?
What colour is the car?
Are the wheels original?

Judging by the engine capacity on eBay it looks like this is a 360 GLE rather than a 340...

Looks nice but the leaky brake pipe might put people off, fix it and I'm sure you'll get the asking price

Just zoomed in on the MOT certificate and it says 360... I want it now curse not having any room left
