£1000 no offers

Meet Chester. I bought this car last summer from the one original owner who bought it new. It had been dry garaged for 8 years and barring a couple of defects in very good shape. We have completely serviced and mot'd it and it now runs nicely. The mot was done in time for Retro Rides but sadly the brake servo failed on the day so it didn't make the gathering. After some delay a working servo was located and fitted so he's now on the road.

The car is in very good all round condition with no structural rust. Interior is very good (other than door cards see below & pics).
Mileage is genuine 61101

Chester was given a good overhaul pre mot - i can't remember everything we did so i'll edit later but the following was done:
New Battery,
new water pump,
all new fluids and filters,
new exhaust,
replaced brakes and slaves iirc...

Oil filter & new oil
new air filter
new plugs
new brake shoes
new discs and pads
replacement brake servo
new brake master cylinder
new brake fluid
new water pump
new boot strut
new exhaust
Wheels refurbished
nice smallish Volvo Momo steering wheel
Rear lowering blocks included in sale
front lowering springs included in sale
a few other small spares included in the sale

There are a couple of issues which still need correcting which are:

Bonnet paint/lacquer is blemished - ideally needing a blow over
One very small rust spot on the passenger door - no other rust anywhere
Interior door cards vinyl has shrunk - re-stretching and re-bonding will be difficult, i've tried. I was planning to get them flocked
Slight lifting of front and rear screen trims - needs tidying but no water ingress
door handle rubbers perished under the handles(replacements available)

All round this car is in very very good shape for its age.

How much did you get for this in the end?? £1,400 sounded very steep.

The £600 it was advertised for on FB was a steal
