Volvo 340 gl k reg in good order, off road for 1 year, previous good runner, good tyres, spare new, battery and exhaust Tel: (07092) 413414
Price: £150.00
Town: Newton Aycliffe
Postcode: DL56
I spotted this and thought what a unique car it would be if it really is on a K plate. I know they exist on J plates, but K I've never seen. I've not seen many on a J, which suggests it only just made it into that letter by a couple of months, making K far less likely. However it could be one of those cars that sat somewhere at a dealers for sometime before being registered. So, there we go........

I've never seen one on a K, but a friend said he did once (amazing what people start looking at when you subect them to something long enough

) I didn't believe him at the time, he was having enough issue telling a 340...

Ive got a J reg so a K isnt impossible. The last year of the 240 was K reg but you see them on L plates also...
looks like this is seriously one of the last 340s... i guess it be one with only "340" on the back and no spec badge...

It reckons its a GL. I'm dubious, they were stopped manufacture in earlier 91, Kar's a mid June '91, so 6 weeks off a J plate, but I think they were using up old stock by then. K would be pretty cool, I'm just skeptical

If it came out of AdTrader, they use a system that gives advertisers a number which diverts people to their actual phone number, which then doesn't have to be published. So if the ad's expired, the number would no longer be valid.

The ad was only a day old when I posted it, I'm sceptical that it is K, but K is a hard mistake compared to G and C etc, which can be easily confused. Interesting though.

There are several 340's still registered till 1992, these were the veeery last.
I think its possible, but dunno for the UK.
