GLT on ebay South Yorks
Saw that earlier... looks ok, just dubious when a Yorkshireman says the bodywork is fair
Worth a look at though, could be a bargain!

I'll get some pics soon. We'll see about February........ no promises! As to cost, I'd not like to say, considering what I spent on having the welding to the rear chassis rails done properly, and I mean properly, not a bodge for an MOT, something that will last and has been well fabricated, that cost more than the car will ever be worth sadly. But it's saved a good car and will hopefully be looked after in the future.

Yea, I bet the non starting was due to a common 300 fault like a fuel pump fuse or lack of fuel.....................petefarrell360 wrote:At least you got to see it, it's very hard to tell from the pictures. I expect the non-starting was the electronic ignition fuse or relay or something silly like that, or just a poor battery!

Pete you are right. It was probably the battery. I was in a rush to get to the airport so did not have a lot of time. The body work was okay but the interior was well lived in, still would have been okay for £195.00. However I am not in such a rush and do not have the time/talent to do much with cars.
