Just so you guys know, I've been speaking to Ian on the phone, and he doesn't want to ship it abroad. It basically looks like I'm getting it.

However - this is good news, as I'll then have a complete kit to start taking mouldings from!

cheers

Sign me up for those.
I will take the whole package if it is possible?

How much will you take for the mouldings?

You mean the finished product? I'm really not sure. I'm going to have to pay my friend to help me, and it does take a LOT of time, but I'm not looking to make money for myself.

The likelyhood is that it'll be more expensive than the kits that appear here from time to time (usually around £100), but there should be a fairly ready supply. In other words, you can pay extra, and buy instantly, or wait and see if you can find an original, at around £100. I am determined it'll be £200 or less though, for a complete kit, with a choice of front valance styles.

I'd like to emphasise that a) I don't know exactly what it'll cost, b) this is a community project - I'm not planning on making any money, and c) 'commercial' kits for things like Saxos usually cost more like £600 - from memory the original price for the Volvo kit was £1000!

cheers

When you say front valance James, do you mean a bit that will clip under the vallance thats already there? You really don't want to think about taking the existing one off, I did a fortnight ago to clear some rust and fit my fogs, its spot welded all the way round, was a real mission.

If there's anything I can do to help with the kit, give us a shout, and put me down for some bits (though I need to raise some funds somehow!) Definate yes to kit to follow ;)

Special - you've never seen a piccy of 'the kit'?! Kinda figures :P Just kidding dude.

Which front valance are you talking about Chris?! I currently have the 'injection' (or red/blueline) lip spoiler, but the bodykit front valance is a fibreglass jobbie, which bolts in front of the metal.
