1.7 high lift cam

I have available a reground cam for the 1.7 8v. I droped it into one of mine and it does make a noticable differnece. The cam does not have a fuel pump drive so would have to be run with an electric fuel pump.

yeah sounds good, is this a straight fit into the b172 or does it require any mods. will it be simple enough to hook up a fuel pump and block the fuel pump hole???

out of interest.... if its high lift, what was it reground from....?

The cam was used in a renault - came with an engine. I don't know who did the regrind.

As to fitting you may have to get the tappets adjusted for clearance.
I was very lucky and got away with not doing it.
