James asked direct in a thread somewhere so i gave him first shout.
Didnt really consider selling it, but then if the cars going, no real point holding it.

Dan the party man!
I bet you your neighbours loved you man!

As an aside, did my first 26 mile back on a standard hoop today.

Arrrgh! its horrible.
When im in 5th gear the gearknob pins my knee to the wheel.
When the wipers are on full super speed, my knee turns them off if I take my right foot off the gas.
I cant get my hand past the bottom of the wheel passed my knees for quick roundabout fun.
And my back hurts.

I want my comfortable leather and dished wheel back. :(

I feel your pain man, id hate to have to go back to standard, Any luck with the 240? also saw u were interested in the ole saab 900's on retro rides.

Had my horn go off a few times by accident once when loading the car up at some silly time in the morning, needless to say i ran back in the house pretty quick and kept quiet :D

Sometime when the numptys stop in filter lanes rather than filter, i do feel i need one. Put the clutch in a rev the motor and they normaly pull anyway i find

The 240 prick hasn't got back to me for four days.
My last email to him said 'tell me when I can come and pay for it. Here's my tel no'

Looking for a stopgap now. Want to save good money and get a really good 240 in a few months time. Or whenever a nice one comes on the Market. Till then, a beater with pas as I'm trying to learn our lass to drive and she's soft as shite.

I only mentioned the saab coz it's local and cheap. Two big wins. Plus they're cool. And the ignition is near the handbreak. Bonus bizarity points.
Prefer chris's 360 if the logistics are possible.

yea would be hard to get it up to you, i would drive it up to you for a train ticket and petrol lol bit of a road trip lol, my mate Dave had a saab 900 in a while ago and it was pretty rusty around the front sub frame, think its a common problem with em, but dont quote me on that lol.

FWIW Volvos are better than Saabs. That's fact.
