potentially for sale: landy series 3

how do all, due to an insurance scuffle she has to go, unfortunatly i need summat cheaper to run and more efficient, which my volvo offers atm!

landrover series 3 - 1978
specs:
2.5 D engine (this has been recently fitted & serviced).
Vegetable Oil conversion including a 2 Tank Change over system and Oil Heating system (I have only ever used SVO).
Fairey Free-wheel hubs.
Overdrive.
Military Gearbox (Reconditioned about 4 years ago).
New clutch fitted less than 1000 miles ago.
Reconditioned Starter Motor just fitted.
Kenlowe electric cooling fan (aids in fuel economy & a quicker warm-up time).
5 year old chassis which has been FULLY wax oiled both inside and out on a regular basis.
Sound bulkhead.
Renewed flooring front and rear.
Modified Front Wings (for extra clearance).
Inner front wing arches.
Parabolic Springs with 2” lift and pro-comp extended shocks (gives greater articulation).
Fully Poly-Bushed (more flexable and hard-wearing than the standard rubber ones).
Extended Axle Breathers.
Up-rated front brakes (11" Drums) with new adjusters
Extended Braided Brake hoses all round.
Servo assisted brakes.
Recently replaced Rear Prop Shaft.
12,000lbs Winch with isolator switch & Winch Bumper.
Steering guard with tow eyes.
Rear Diff guard.
Light guards.
Uprated Headlights and Big Spots on the front.
Fully Wired Light Bar.
Tow hitch with electrics.
Colway MT Tyres (part worn - less than half).
Under seat battery box (able to fit Twin Batteries) only 1 atm could include an optima if itll take charge (explained later!)
Bucket seats and harnesses.
Cubby box.
Carpeted inside with sound proofing.
Chequer plated flooring in the cab and rear tub.

since if owned her ive covered about 4k miles and its only missed a major beat once when numb nuts here fitted a proper exhaust to it forgot to move the battery cables out of the way, so has new cables, battery, alternator, and a voltmeter.
has had a few other minor instances of breaking down such as me forgetting to put fuel in

Can't see the pics there sorry......

I hope you get a good price for it though. I sold my 1980 ex-army LWB soft-top 2.25 petrol SIII in 2003 (re-built by yours truly dontcherknow ) to raise the money for a deposit on my Flat in the UK, and I still miss it terribly!

Good Series IIIs are getting rarer these days, what sort of money are you asking?

cheers for that, ive edited the pics and they seem to work now, im looking for about 1500, tho im not sure if shes up for sale yet im still looking at options.

its also had new master cylinder, pads alround, rear drums, and front cylinders, front wheel bearings are new along with the oil seals, ive got the rears jsut ahvnt got round to fitting them yet.
