Hello folks,
I've decided to go redblock with my 340 so my renault engines are up for sale. I can DELIVER TO RETRO RIDES if necessary. :D

First up, F7R hybrid 2.0:

This is the engine I bought from Ben earlier in the year, only to find some compatibility issues. It's a late 714 bottom end from a megane, and would need the front quarter of the megane sump (sump supplied) welding to the rear 3/4 of the volvo 1.7 sump. This is to accomodate the chain driven oil pump. As seen here:

See the indent for the chainwheel (top left of the sump)?

Any engineering shop should be able to sort that out for you, personally I couldn't be bothered at the time so pinched the Kent cams that were in this engine for my 1.8. So it currently has standard ones in, not a great difference as they were only RN1601s, the mildest cam they do. Will be supplied with a gunnerchip ECU and standard clio loom. The manifolds have been removed but I can put them back on for transporting. I'm happy to wait in for a courier, as long as it's before Friday 14th as I'm going to RRG09.
Price is a very reasonable £195 ono, with very cheap delivery available next weekend.

Next up is my F7P:

Currently in the car and running sweetly (apart from an air leak around the carbs, but that's not the engine's fault). It's a standard F7P from an R19, running Kent 1601 'sports injection' cams, piper vernier pulleys, Dell'Orto DHLA40 carbs on a homemade inlet manifold, and a williams tubular exhaust manifold.
It's a very smooth lump, no rattles when cold, always warmed up and treated with respect since I blew my last one by over-revving. It never goes above 6500rpm as I have a nasty propshaft vibration around there. It could rev safely to 8k were it not for that. Even so, it'll comfortably pull 120mph@6krpm, with 0-60 a little under 7 seconds. The engine is still in the car but if somebody wants it I'll pull it out within a day or so.

Pricing is tricky, the conversion parts are staying with me, and the carbs are worth £200 all day if sold seperately so I'm keen to keep those (and maybe put them on my GLT). Given that it has cams and pulleys it must be worth £175 without exhaust or carbs, but with standard inlet and loom. Having said that, an offer around £450 would persuade me to part with the;
engine (£175),
carbs (£200),
1.7 conversion parts (hen's teeth),
williams exhaust with modded downpipe (£80+ work modding it),
Facet fuel pump (£40),
Filter King pressure regulator (£80),
And all wires/hoses needed to fit it.

It all adds up to quite a lot more than I'm asking. If you're interested, let me know what your needs are and I'll happily come to a deal on any combination of the above engines and/or parts. I won't bite or be rude, promise.

Oh and I can deliver anywhere between Sunderland and Somerset on the weekend of the 15th+16th of August, very cheaply.

Less than a day's work if you have all the 1.7 mounts, hoses and wires ready to go in.

Oi stop ruining a sale Ad!
Yeah they're plenty mild, but either way I have no room in the car now, as there's a bumper, door cards, carpet, bucket seats and a clio exhaust in the back. Engines are still for sale, but will need courier action probably.
