sorry to see what happened to your volvo Dendorssesrs.

a mate or mine smashed his pride and joy, a mint R32 drift spec skyline into a salt bin because he was reading a text on his phone. we had to rope his landcruiser to the front of it to pull it back into shape. a whole lot of money and working through a couple of nights later and it looked somthing like a car again. we were surprised at how well it looked! and then the following weekend he drifted through a puddle and smashed the rear quarter into a concrete bollard, OUCH!!

you would of thought he would learn but a few weeks after the repair he thought he was to good to do a three point turn in the road. resulting in him sliding into a curb! killed his alloy wheel and bent all his special orange driftworks adjustable bits. believe it or not he is actually a bloody good driver!! lol

Yeah I gotta agree there. Glad I didn't mess it up as bad as the other 2 here  I've had a look I'm gonna charge them the cost of a day's work, paint and tools. The dent only has two points of impact, they are easily popped out. It's the paint that is gonna be a pain as it's cracked at all the points where the metal has bent. Also there are scuff marks. And it's a bad idea to work on the paint this time of year :( I'll just bang some lacquer on for now to protect it. I think £100 is reasonable to ask?

I would go for more then the 100 you are asking!
You always have to assume you are having it done by a professional! Popping a dent will be around 50, painting a new screen about 100, rebuild about 30...

That makes a grand total of 180£! You can start there and see what you get, if you only start at 100, you can only go down! So ask for 180£, and then you'll always get what you want, might be a bit more even! Else, you just say you'll call in the insurance, that will cost them more then the 180£, cause there insurance goes up in points...

So in conclusion, you are not aksing enough! They wrecked your car, so they pay the damage or their inssurance pays for it!
Its as simple as that! if you were to bump into a new vihicle, you would be paying more then just the 100, even if it was just a mild dent, so why should you be happy with a 100!

True dat. I'll get a quote from a local dent removal company, then there's no room to argue.
