Bought most of them between 25 and 10 years ago. Got given a few after friends and family 'upgraded', couldn't see them unused, but rust, 1.7ness and couldn't-be-botheredness killed most of them. Bought some of them 'trade' from the dealer and sold a few on for profit, but not a day job really. I've had some really good ones, and a few buckets, all with the aim of getting them back to the feel of the brand new ones I drove when my parent had theirs in for service.
Typically paid between £1200 and £800, going down towards the end of the availablilty to £400 and getting better value as normal people considered them to undesirable. Then bought a 940 turbo for £4,000 9 years ago, needs minimal servicing, while I restore the 360 saloon...or let it rust in a wet garage for most of the time
