Well chaps, i had a play with the louvre the other day, bought some linseed oil off the bay cos im lazy

haha. I see what you mean about it not taking a lot lol, so i put some on, left it for a while, then wiped the excess off
Before:
After:
I think it looks much better! A lot better than painting it

I also bought myself a new fitting kit, cost me £22 posted. If you decide to get one, dont bother e-mailing them, phone them up

Came with the new security fittings and a brand new support bar for the back. You have to take out the original fittings, the ones with the penny slot so you can turn it like a screw, and then push these in:
This bit goes under the window rubber and sticks to glass:
Then you push the louvre onto it
And you cant pull it off, as it has the usual, err its hard to explain. you can see the little 'wings' on the piece that sticks to glass, and they stick out inside the piece attached to the louvre so you cant pull it off. So you need this little jobby to unclip it and allow you take it off:
Also placed it on the car to have a butchers, looks pretty sweet!
Not the best rear view vision for a new driver
Anyway, thought i'd show you all how it came out

My dad should be back to his own car soon, so mines coming off the road ready for its transformation soon!
