I believe it would be soap cup wholesale vendor, but soap cup of course can be soap dish as more appropriate term in English, however word to word accurate is soap cup wholesale vendor, afaik.trabitom99 wrote:
Apparently, "saippuakuppinippukauppias" means "soap dish wholesale vendor" in Finnish.
Tom
But that is not a long word, you see we are bit crazy, not sure if we are as crazy as those guys in up north, but bit crazy.
Here is old longest word:
järjestelmällisentelentelemättömyydellänsäkään
With even his incapability to organize, might be one way to translate that, for me it is already rather difficult to translate.
However this has been thought to be one of the longest words, yes, we have competitions in forming long words

kumarreksituteskenteleentuvaisehkollaismaisekkuudellisenneskenteluttelemattomammuuksissansakaankopahan
It has something to do with bowing to person, maybe, it has no basic forms of words so it is like if you would put on in at between every word and thus it is almost impossible to me even find out which word is which, so I have no idea what that does mean, but it is recognized to be longest word.
And fellow finns are still questioning my way of thinking everything in English, it is much easier for me, even my English is not perfect, so these days I think in English and translate to Finnish when I have to say something as I do most of reading and writing in English anyway, at least I get away from those horrible words and language is rather simple
