Just click on the exclamation mark next to "quote" to report the post. "The only purpose of this post is to advertise a product or another website" or words to that effect The mods will then deal with it.

Generally spam comes in rushes as they will setup loads of computers in a warehouse or apartment somewhere in an unregulated country but scarper after a week by the time the authorities from the monitored countries finally catch up with them. So it'll slow down eventually.

I think there must be humans doing spam now rather than bots?

There has been new methods in prevention I have seen recently, google captcha requires to copy authorization code in addition of captcha and then there was button one have to click to say he is human, after that security question that only enthusiast can know, all those for single board of course, oh yes and still activation mail thing to top that off which has of course spammer domains blacklisted so you won't get that mail if you are a spammer.

There must be also some other mods to keep them off I believe.

Of course all this + board updates need to be put in to make it work and not to have more them posting than regulars
