Any guesses what I might have bought?
Well it isnae a Perodua Nippa...It's a MY82 Volvo 245 GLT Estate with waft-o-matic.S10NPH wrote:Any guesses what I might have bought?
Well I knew it was a GLT and I guessed it was of a 200 series variety. Then I just had to look...S10NPH wrote:Top marks, although I can't help but think that your level of detail was garnered by looking at the other images in my photobucket and looking it up on the Doovla website rather than the picture I posted up
Yeah, he used to run it with Ray Charles.S10NPH wrote:I hadn't realised before that Stevie Wonder as an aside to his successful music career also ran a small MOT testing station in north London. As well as passing MOTs, he also does some rather shonky looking welding.
So it's had a replacement window at some point of the later variety?S10NPH wrote:I agree about the high level brake light, although to remove it altogether I would need replacement tailgate glass, as the black surround for it I believe is etched onto the glass.
Yes, it's had a brand new tailgate about 10 years ago apparently. It's therefore completely rust free. Don't worry, the badges are being moved tomorrow, I can't cope with them where they are!V6 Man wrote:It's had a resprayed tailgate at some point, or a replacement tailgate as the badges are in the wrong place.
I'm trying to work out if that's a 140bhp H cam'd engine or the later 136bhp K cam'd one. '80/'81MY cars had the H cam, and some of the '82MY ones came with it. '83MY's (as far as I can tell) all had the K cam.
I can't remember, but it wasn't quite straight forward. I'll look back at my post and see how I done it!S10NPH wrote:(MacP, I can't work out how to tile these as thumbnails in the way you have)
