I'm defineatly going to get handle bar lower with new stem thing, but so far it has been really great, after I set seat properly, now with 70 rpm cranking it feels really good, using some new muscles is also giving some new sensations to my legs, but nothing really bad, I'm hoping to loose many stones and get bit better performance out from bicycle at the summer.

One great thing is that I'm not half dead after cycling, but still feel like there has been lot of excerice, should be better than heart bouncing nearly 200bpm

As I found another bicycle from my warehouse, I did some painting and here is current WIP state of it:

It requires straight front fork or then I need to put original handlebar back and other bits, like fenders and cargo rack, also would need to do paint stripping and painting for those bits too.

It was painted very badly by previous owner at some point of 70's and I did sand it to bare metal and did whole course, zink, rost primer, top coat, of course I removed every bit from frame before painting, so it should be quite good in that sense.
Bicycle itself is from 50's or 60's I guess at least.

It is now bit like this dude's bicycle

Pedal brakes are all that are needed, I did service 3spd torpedo hub, similar to s.archer you probably got there, brakes are just spot on, stops on a dime and no need for handles.

I made some changes to it, put tarmac rear tire and off road handle bars on it, now it is much better, tested at off road and works just fine, no need for knobby tire :D

I still can top over 50kph on my test track

Worked well on mud too, which is bit surprising as rear tire is such, 32-622:

When I get rich I put some proper tire on that one.

Sachs Torpedo?

I prefer the ancient Duomatic myself.

But I prefer my 0 euros spent :D Well, except bit of paint and time :D

Would like to get new cable for torpedo, but all options are such type that has plastic bits and mine is without plastic bits except for switch cover, maybe I have to do one by myself from few different pieces.
