Looks awesome mate mucho coolness
300's seem to be weird, it would appear to me some can be slammed and still look like you have a reasonable amount of clearance, yet others not, odd. Either way looks epic.
In the 1st pic is that an epic rust whole in your inner wing or just a darker patch of underseal or something?

Likely sooner rather than later, though hopefully it'll crack around the weld. The heat from the welder will have screwed up the springs tempering so the spring rate will be greatly reduced near the weld. Secondly, the spring when compressed likes to rotate a bit, not much, but just enough that it can't now. It normally can't when people chop springs anyway (as the point contact greatly increases friction) but by welding it you'd created even more of a fatigue point I would have thought?
For the 60 odd quid it costs for custom springs I really don't get it, that's a tank of fuel! I'm also intrigued what an MOT tester would say

tyres are 205/60/r13 nankangs cost 108 quid for the pair, not bad really..
as far as springs go - i welded just the tip of the springs and i dont think there is any problem yet as its on bumpstops and springs arent doing anything, once it breaks ill let you know

a bit of clearance issue is the tire catches top of the wheel tub, i hammered it as far up as i could but ideally they need cutting out and replacing with new, higher positioned metal - mine are almost shot through so something that will be done in the near future.. MOT im not worried about its not going to pass its next one anyway which is in october so might aswell have some fun ey

got this for a £10er
needs a polish and then fitting. will be the only silencer on my car so might need a burberry cap
also the golf my wheel hit has come back with the cheapest repair quote being 750 quid. there is no way in a million yeas could a tire travelling 15mph can break the headlight, break the impact bar behind bumper and break the grill and put the wing out of alignment. when i was there the only damage was a bit of side trim got knocked off - the headlight wasnt hanging on by the wires. neither was the grill broken - is there anything i can do?
