Re: Photos
Back again with some night shots, let's see if you can guess the make and model of the car in the first picture.
Here it is:

It's a caged beast hunting for pray in the night...
This should be a little bit easier:

Not a lot less of a beast than the first one.
[I'm beginning to get the hang of ImageShack
]
P.S. Only people who post pictures can take a guess, I don't want to go off topic with the thread.

Re: Photos
Thx to all from nice comments, butterfly just came up to me when I was sitting at stairs of house, naturally camera near me if I can find something interesting, so just made best use of situation and did try some stuff I just read earlier
First one is V/S40, second one is 340 or 360.

I have serious issues with CA in these shots...

Re: Photos
I don't know if this works out or not, but I have no access to ftp right now to upload files to normal location and Photobucket seem to be inaccessible at the moment, so I use my old Deviant Art account instead, which I have really not used much:

Edit: does front area appear tad dark to you? It looks fine in one of my laptops, but with another it looks tad dark, however I have no access to more displays now to find out how it really is.
It is bit difficult to coulour calibrate laptop screen as there is only one setting, brightness and even that has quite large steps...

Good day!
Nice guess mate
somebody know his Volvos. Even in the dark
Here they are [with more light]:

The 360 has new lights [not those in the photo] from a later model, a '91 340, they are in mint condition and it makes a hell of a difference. Now I can see in the dark!
And a little bit of artistic photography:

Jtbo the photo looks good, no dark spots, it's excellent!
You have a lot of nice colors there.
You can always use Adobe Photoshop for purple fringing [blue lines on the edge of where dark and light colors meet], just select to modify the hue and take down the saturation of blue in the picture.
If you want I can attach a modified picture in photoshop of your photo.

Re: Photos
I use GIMP, there is plugin called FixCA that is aimed for fixing those errors, but I find errors are too great to be fixed, here is original colours, horrible, eh? Sure you can try to fix it, but I think it will be a challenge

Re: Photos
I went to forest and took few shots from there, however resizing seem to make pics look crap, so I uploaded full res pics to:
http://jtbo.pp.fi/images/album/road_pic ... ski-suomi/

Last week managed to take a shot from nice sunset (photo has been edited to reflect better what I saw):

Planes fly quite high up here, but I can tell it is British Airways and perhaps 747

My fwd french crap is getting dents all the time even when it is parked to hotel parking lot:

Oops, that last one was caused by huge lorry that threw block of ice against me when I was driving opposite direction, I almost dodged it

Thanks, it was taken while talking to mobile phone, so I'm not 100% satisfied to it, but it does show quite well what I saw thereSteveP wrote:Love the panoramic version of that shot!

Re: Photos
Great tit, not only by it's name I believe? Scaled to half size of original, photographed with macro and hand held while sun was setting down, bit of a challenge if you ask me
