According to V3C:
http://www.v3c.nl/modelontwikkeling.php?menu=volvo300 (scroll down to "1987")
Redlines & Blacklines (?) were 1.7's, Bluelines were 1.4's in Holland ...

All I know is that all CVT's came with a 1400 engine

I know... but all Blueline's in the UK were 1.7's, I assumed it would be the same throughout Europe...

The special editions seem to have varied greatly from country to country. Austria got 360 redlines for example ... ;-)

Hi everyone!

I live in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. My husband is proud owner of Volvo 340 DL, 1985, manual transmisson, works with gasolene and propane-butane. My husband is second owner of the car (since 1991), the first one was in Germany. A month ago my husband and I made a dessision to buy new car for him - so Volvo became mine :D (the new car is Renault/ Dacia Logan).

Here are few pictures of my car:

I'm happy to be here!

Welcome! I drove through Sofia a month ago, and saw 3 300's in a week. I was mainly driving between Borovets to the Sofia side of Samakov, there was a red mk2, a grey mk3 twice parked in Samakov itself, and a different grey on the Sofia - Samakov road. I wonder if the red mk2 was yours!

I've driven around Sofia twice now, never in my own car so far though ;) I'll most probably be around again next year sometime, but not sure yet!
