Hi Chris_C, you told me in once in this topic that you also liked Something Corporate. Well, the lead singer, Andrew McMahon is now lead singer in an other band too. They're called Jack's Mannequin. Their first album comes out in august, but there's already a few tracks on the internet. You check them out too :-) It's like the same style music as Something Corporate.

Album update:
Extreme - Pornograffitti (still loving he-man woman hater!) sm69
Santa Carla - Motion Picture sm40
Span - Mass Distraction sm48
Paul Gilbert - Burning Organ sm70
Tenacious D - Tenacious D sm75
Dream Theater - Octavarium sm38
Megadeth - Rust in Peace sm49
Faithless - Sunday 8pm sm77

I have a fairly fast turnover of CDs

and on the "replacing" freddie subject

Robbie would be good, but maybe a bit to obvious, it would then become queen+robbie, if they released anything it would be instant number one material, i don't doubt that, but the image of brian may playing let me entertain you is terrifying me.

if they get rid of Paul Rodgers (who I think is doing an amazing job at it) then I'd be interested to see somebody like sabastian bach (skid row) for the fact that he would bever miss a note
alternatively I'd love to see Geddy Lee (rush) singing, especially if they start writing new material, also got a pretty individual voice, so it wouldn't really be replacing freddie, more like moving on after him

there are dozens of amazing freddie tribute acts out there if that's all they wanted to do!
